Rosalie Cunningham​ new single Number 149 OUT TODAY!

Southend's very own Princess of Psych Rosalie Cunningham​ releases her brand new single Number 149 b/w The Fossil, through Cherry Red Records Friday March 12th. Accompanied by a self produced & edited video featuring live action and stop-motion animation painstakingly put together by partner Rosco Levee. Inspired by the house Rosalie grew up in, Number 149 was intended for inclusion on her forthcoming second solo album but is now a standalone release. Post lockdown plans include European festival dates this summer followed by a European tour in 2022.

Southend based Alt Rockers Counting The Killers have released their debut single 'Winter', accompanied by the topically named Covid Isolation Mix lyric video. The single recently received its first airplay on Phoenix Fm.

The band were formed August last year by Ben Robbins (Vocals) & Dave Pankhurst (Guitar/Vocals). They were soon joined by AD Walsingham (Guitar), Steve Card (Bass) and Luke Smith (Drums).

Like most other bands, Counting The Killers are currently denied the opportunity to get out on the road due to Covid 19.

Nova Twins announce European Tour

Essex/East London based Grime Punk duo Nova Twins have announced a European tour commencing March 3rd in Lille France, returning to Blighty with a home town gig @ Colours Hoxton on April 23rd & culminating at Kendal Calling festival in the lake district on July 30th.

Hayseed Dixie featuring Hippy Joe Hymas new album out Feb 14th

Hayseed Dixie, the self described "Undisputed world heavyweight creators of the musical genre, "Rockgrass" are back with a new album 'Blast From The Grass' out February 14th.
The band say, "It will be the best thing you buy this year, or it won't be." The band may hail from Tennessee, they have for a while now featured on Mandolin, Basildon's very own champion of live music Hippy Joe Hymas. Joe takes a starring role in the bands new video for 'Staying Alive', see our Video of the Week on the right.
